Agency Profile
"The Union Aid Society is far more than a community safety net, it is a beacon of hope."
        — Quaker Valley Student

Since 1898, the Union Aid Society has been a safety-net for the 11 municipalities of the Quaker Valley School District. Quietly and with compassion, we help any neighbor in need. The Union Aid Society relies on generous support from our community to make assistance available to those needing help.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Services provided by the Union Aid Society include emergency funding for rent, medical bills, food and utilities. We own and subsidize apartments for low income seniors, and coordinate several annual community programs – Thanksgiving Food Program, Children’s Holiday Gift Program, Scholarships and Back-to-School clothing and supplies.

The executive director, a licensed social worker, works with people in crisis to arrange for immediate help or refers them to other agencies that can meet their needs.
